A BRITON has jumped into the record books after becoming the first woman to skydive over Mount Everest.
Due to the thin air, Holly Budge, from Bristol, made the 29,330ft jump – 465ft above the Everest summit – with an oxygen tank and a parachute which was three times bigger than normal.

She was among three skydivers who made the first parachute jump over Mount Everest yesterday. After her jump, the 29-year-old, who works in the adrenaline sports industry, said: "It was amazing. There are views that you don't get anywhere else in the world."

Around 30 skydivers from over ten countries are in the region and are set to make the jump in the next few days.

I see that you are still as nasty as ever towards women. I doubt that you would have made any comment at all if it was a man who had made the jump and don't even answer me with your usual saying that you were only joking, as is your anwer to anyone that goes after you about your stupid and obnoxious comments.

YOU are stupid and obnoxious and the typical Ameican - bigoted, ignorant, woefully undereducated, fat, loudmouth, and too tedious for words.

Your answer is soooo true to form for you,it just goes to show that your supposed education that your are always bragging about certainly did not make you a very intelligent person. I see that someone had your #1
comment removed,it is a pity because it would have let other people see what an obnoxious and hateful person that you are.

This was not a jump over the mountain. They may have jumped from an airplane and they may have jumped above the mountain but they did not jump over the mountain.

To jump over something means "the act of propelling oneself upwards, using one's own power, into the air, and then returning back to the same surface". No one could actually jump something like a mountain. The most one can do is the high jump like in the Olympics.
