DENMARK will hold a referendum in June to decide whether the first-born child of its king or queen can inherit the throne, regardless of gender
Constitutionally, a daughter can become queen only if the royal couple do not have any male children.

"It's a question of equality," said Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the prime minister. The referendum will take place on 7 June, the same day as elections to the European Parliament will be held.

The English government won't allow a referendum on their particular parasites.

They should be voting on how best to get rid of their monarchy. And so should we!!!

Any true Democratic society should abolish royalty, since royalty is not elected or voted in.
We here in China get knocked or condemned constantly for not being able to vote for as to who gets into power, yet many countries embrace royalty as we speak and don't get knocked or condemned for that.
I'm sure most Scottish people would agree that paying for that useless bunch in England is a waste of your hard earned money, yet you have to pay.
If you are looking to separate, all the power to you. Just go about it peacefully, not the way Tibet tried to separate from China, using murdering innocent Chinese as a tool to separate.

#4 Alan Reid,
Just the ones that we shot to protect our innocent citizens, kind of like self defence.
Can you provide me with proof of how many you figure were killed? No you can't. You can only go by what the lying western media has told you, and you're gullible enough to believe it.
You should look at your neighbours in Australia, who respect the Chinese and who know that we've been given an unfair reputation because we fly the Communist flag.

China....... An evil empire, where human rights are non existent. According to the Chinese liars,no one died in Tibet. However the lies of the Chinese are well renowned.

#5 perhaps you should do some research into the British constitutional processes and you will soon learn that the Royal family holds no power in reality and only in theorey.
The day that a monarch openly challenges parliament will be they day that it dies. Essentially the monarch only acts as a tourist attraction and a traditionalist head of state. Nothing more than an upper class civil servant really and fodder for tabliods

Can you name an RAF pilot who was born in a council house that gets to take home a helicopter?

You people are governed in part by individuals who have that right by being born in the correct family. If you wish to pay for the royals and their lifestyles, that's your business and choice. It wouldn't be mine.
Give a British actor, sports person, or entertainer a title and they grab it with both hands. They know exactly how to keep you serfs in place.
