PC killer wins 'life means life' appeal

THE killer of PC Ian Broadhurst, who was shot at point-blank range during a routine check on a stolen vehicle in Leeds in 2003, has won an appeal against his "life means life" prison sentence.
Appeal judges instead imposed a minimum 37-year jail term on former US marine David Bieber, 42.
