EDINBURGH University defeated Lothian Thistle 4-2 in their Premier Division clash thanks to goals from brothers Alasdair and Cameron MacKinnon.
Ryan McIntosh gave the students an early lead before Craig Dickson equalised with a stunning volley. Jamie Redman and Alasdair MacKinnon then gave Edinburgh a two-goal cushion before Kenny Young struck home a long-range effort. With time running out, Cameron MacKinnon sealed the victory.

Coldstream provided the shock of the day when they travelled to meet Preston Athletic and returned to the Borders with a 2-1 win. Robin Brown and Matty Travis put Coldstream two up before Craig Scott scored a late goal for Preston.

Easthouses Lily took the lead against Whitehill Welfare with a goal from Ryan Curran before Andrew Kidd equalised in a 1-1 draw.

Craigroyston took over as leaders of the First Division after a late rally defeated Stirling University 3-2. Sam French put the students ahead then Graham Hare equalised. Neil Shave regained Stirling's lead then Gary Georgeson brought Craigroyston level before debutant Kris O'Neil headed home the winner.
