Girls face cup KO over Sunday finals

A GIRLS' football team from the Outer Hebrides looks set to miss playing in the finals of a national tournament because they will be staged on a Sunday.
The squad, from Back, on Lewis, have qualified for the Coca-Cola Sevens finals at Heart of Midlothian's Tynecastle home in Edinburgh on 25 May. But a number of parents have withdrawn their daughters, citing religious observance. Now their MSP, Alasdair Allan, is calling for the date to be changed.
