Meet the founder

Eva Luckas set up the company two years ago, and says she has had a lifelong passion for caring for others.

“I’m originally from Hungary,” she says. “I studied in the healthcare school but I have always have a passion for helping people since I was a kid.

“I used to help my mother to look after my elderly grandparents. That’s when I made my decision that I would love to join the healthcare sector to take care of elderly and vulnerable people.

Having relocated to England in 2018 she worked in the healthcare sector as a live-in carer.

“I knew straight away this is what I would love to do for the rest of my life,” she says “I dreamt that one day I will have my own company.”

The company prides itself on being professional, open and honest.

“Sometimes we all need emotional support or just need someone to talk to, we are always here for them.”

Professional carers

Currently Senius has 82 self-employed professional carers on their books. Each one has a minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare, with references, verified through ID and DBS/PVG checks, and possesses all the necessary documents to work as self-employed carers.

Staff are highly trained and experienced in all aspects of care including peg training, cough assist and suction machine training and stoma care.

“Our caregivers have excellent references from families whom we have cared for, and we are eager to assist more families at home with high quality of care,” says Eva.
