They are the only ones that can turn their country around - period. Like an alcoholic, only the affected one can make the necessary changes.

The Afghanis and the Allies are fortunate to have a stud like Karzai. He's the real deal. Those who have come on this forum to decry our efforts in Afghanistan by pointing out the sorry history of foreign invaders in Afghanistan should read their own words. The Afghani Taleban are a thing of the past. Those who call themselves Taleban now are, by and large, not Afghanis. They are foreign invaders. No foreigners have ever conquered Afghanistan. What makes anyone think that a group of foreign jihadis are going to have any better luck?
