UK death toll rises by more than 100 in a day for first time
More than 100 patients have died in the UK in the last 24 hours, according to officials.
The death toll has risen from 475 to 578 which is the biggest jump the country has seen since the coronavirus outbreak began.
Three more people died in both Scotland and Northern Ireland, as well as six more in Wales.
