Scotland bottom of rich list despite League Cup boost
BT Sport have signed up to screen the new-look competition for the next four years, with 13 matches from the tournament – which now features a summer group stage and a bonus-point shoot-out for drawn matches – to be broadcast live each season.
Bosses from the Scottish Professional Football League say the new TV package will raise more than double the £900,000 a year generated by the current BBC deal.
