Morton 0 - 2 Hamilton: Morton slump to home loss
Scorers: Hamilton - May 39, 55
This game had end-of-season humdrum stamped all over it from the opening whistle with a vastly under-strength home team looking like they would rather be anywhere else and Hamilton with nothing tangible to fight for – as has been the case for some weeks now.
No surprise then that this encounter was never in danger of being a classic although, in May, the visitors had the game’s shining light as he proved with a typically enterprising finish six minutes from the end of an instantly forgettable opening half.

The game, though, was soon to be put to bed as May, a surprise omission from the player of the year nominees, struck again as he tucked home his second of the day to settle the issue amid some horrible home defending.
