Basketball: Malta down senior women
Not one of the side managed into double figures, Emma Findlay (Edinburgh Kool Kats) leading the scoring with seven points and clubmate Sarah O'Brien adding six.
Down 34-17 at half-time, the Scots, coached by Aussie Trudi Hopgood, converted only 14 of their 45 two-point shot attempts and one from 11 of their three-point efforts. Scotland play Wales today in a must-win game if they are to avoid playing Gibraltar for the wooden spoon.
