Athletics: Scots athletes are simply wonderful in Copenhagen
Jade Nimmo (Falkirk) won the long jump with a modest 5.95m, with Kyle Henderson (Central) ninth with 6.88m in the men's event which had to be held indoors.
Given the conditions Jax Thoirs (Glasgow) excelled in placing fourth in the pole vault with 5.00m, his second best-ever vault, with the Scottish record-holder Gregor MacLean (Montrose) failing to clear a height.

Both Learmonth and his coach Henry Gray were thoroughly delighted with his performance last night and the 19-year-old Loughborough-based student will now bring the curtain down on his topsy-turvy outdoor season by helping his club Lasswade in the final Scottish League match which is scheduled to take place at Grangemouth on Sunday.
"I'm in good shape - there was a thunderstorm and a 45-minute delay before we ran and unlike the other race we'd no pacemaker," said Learmonth.
