Ian Black still seeking club after Rangers exit
The 30-year-old former Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Hearts player left Ibrox after three years in the summer and was keen to try his luck in England and remains so despite a frustrating summer.
Black played as a trialist for Berwick Rangers against Haddington Athletic in July and has also spent time training with Raith Rovers.

Hide AdA number of Scottish clubs have been in contact with the one-time Scotland cap about short term deals or playing as a trialist but he has put those requests on hold as he pursues opportunities that have come up down south since the transfer window closed.
Black said: “Blackpool looked to be an option, however nothing concrete has been offered so far. Clubs are re-assessing their squads now and I will wait and see what happens.”
