Pakistan: Murdered Scot’s husband in custody
Mumtaz Sattar, 38, from Port Glasgow, Inverclyde, died shortly after arriving in the country’s Punjab province last month.
Reports said Abdul Sattar, 40, told police they were attacked during a taxi ride to see his parents on September 21.

Hide AdMrs Sattar’s relatives lodged a petition at the High Court in Lahore on Friday alleging that her husband is a suspect.
A lawyer for the family, Aamer Anwar, said Mr Sattar had since been taken into “protective custody” by police.
Governor of the Punjab region, former Glasgow MP Mohammad Sarwar, has previously assured Mrs Sattar’s relatives that “justice will be done”.
