Elderly woman knocked down by car in city street
An elderly woman is in hospital after being knocked down by a car in an Edinburgh street.
The pedestrian was crossing Northfield Broadway when she was hit by a Mercedes Benz just before 2.30pm.
The road was reopened at 3.12pm. It is not thought that the woman has life-threatening injuries.
