Six months of major gas works in the pipeline to affect streets of Leith
Scotland Gas Networks will begin work on Monday, October 29, with traffic diversions in place to compensate. Working five days a week between 8am and 4.15pm, and with weekend works when required, engineers will renew 1750m of gas mains in the area.
The gas board said it would ensure the project is completed as quickly as possible and that it was mindful that the area is largely residential.
