Grand Theft Auto V angers anti-rape campaigners
The latest version of the series, pictured, created by Edinburgh-based Rockstar North has a “killer’s eye view” and allows players to pay for sex, then attack the woman and steal her money

Hide AdShe said: “If the makers of GTA paused to reflect on the real violence experienced by many women every day, they might think again about the ‘experience’ they sell as entertainment.”
But Strauss Zelwick, chief executive of GTA’s publishers Take Two, defended the game: “Look, this is a criminal setting.
“It is art, I embrace the art – and it is beautiful art – but it is gritty.
“We stand shoulder to shoulder with major motion picture releases and major television shows that explore a similar universe.”
