Ospreys back to nest soon after 3,000 mile trip
OSPREYS are due to arrive back at Scotland's most famous nest later this month following their annual 3,000 mile migration to Africa.
Around 100 wildlife workers and volunteers are preparing for the return of ospreys Laddie and Lassie to the Scottish Wildlife Trust’s Loch of the Lowes reserve, near Dunkeld, Perthshire,
The team will keep a 24 hour watch over the nest and help with the stream of people expected flood in to the visitor centre. Last year the male returned on 22 March, one of the first back in Scotland.
