Defending cup holders Jets take off for South Ayrshire
The Capital volleyball side were surprise first-time winners of the competition last season as they upstaged champions City of Edinburgh and will be looking to get off to a flier. NUVOC will host favourites City of Edinburgh, looking to spring a surprise.
In the men’s competition, City of Edinburgh have a difficult first match in defence of the trophy when they travel to Coltness to take on City of Glasgow Ragazzi. Edinburgh Jets, having signed Great Britain international Paul Glissov, promise to mount a challenge this season but are up against Kilmarnock Blaze, last season’s runners-up and the current Scottish League champions.

While there is a big committment playing in the Scottish league, the students are keen to enhance their profile in the game.
