Stephen Millar appointed managing partner at CMS
The University of Dundee graduate, who has been with the firm since 2003, joined its board in 2013 as practice group manager for energy, projects and construction.
Following CMS’s merger with Dundas & Wilson, which completed in 2014, Millar also became co-executive partner for Scotland.

Hide AdHe has acted on a range of North Sea deals, including ConocoPhillips’ sale of a gas field stake to Scottish Gas owner Centrica, and BP’s sale of upstream assets in the US, Canada and Egypt to Apache.
Millar will begin his four-year term at the start of May. Until then, London-based Duncan Weston will continue as managing partner.
